Per-seat pricing punishes the exact thing a growing pet sitting company needs to do. Porchlight has two plans. Solo is just you doing the visits. Add even one sitter and you move to Team, then add as many as you like at the same price. Every feature is on both plans, and there is never a per-seat fee.

How referrals work- Switch free: tell us at signup that you are leaving Time To Pet and your trial is 90 days instead of 30. No card, and we do not ask for proof.
- Price lock for life: companies that switch from Time To Pet, and the first 100 companies to join, keep the price of their plan for as long as the subscription stays active. If you cancel and come back later, the current price applies.
- Referrals: when a company you referred starts its first paid subscription, you get one free month. The company you referred gets an extra 30 days at signup. You cannot refer yourself, and we may decline referrals that look like abuse.

- One person uses Solo ($50). Two or more use Team: $40 plus $16 per active user (users 26 and up are $5).
- Every user is counted as active, including the owner. Time To Pet counts staff only in months they have a visit.
- Texting is not on the pricing page. Per Time To Pet’s help center, it is $10 a month to reserve a number, which includes 250 texts per active staff member, then $0.025 per text. We count the allowance as one shared pool, and charge nothing here when you send none.
- Card processing (3% + $0.30) is not included in either side of this comparison.

Fair use on SMS is 5,000 segments a month. Crossing it starts a conversation, not an automatic charge. You can see the meter in the admin header at any time.
Bring your account with you
The Switch Kit imports clients, pets, vaccinations, services, rates, recurring schedules and outstanding balances from your current system. Dry run first, rollback if you change your mind.
