Porchlight vs Precise Petcare
Precise Petcare without the sitter-count tiers
Precise Petcare is reasonably priced at the small end. Its tiers step up with the number of users, so growth still moves the bill. Porchlight Team is cheaper once you reach six people, and not before.
Your bill, side by side
Precise Petcare prices in steps by active user count: Solo $20, 2 to 5 users $45, 6 to 10 $90, 11 to 20 $160, 21 to 30 $200, and higher steps after that. Owners, managers and sitters all count. SMS fees are listed as not included.

Where Precise Petcare is genuinely stronger
If one of these is central to your business, they are the better choice and we would rather say so now than after you migrate.
Cheaper for small teams
At $20 for one person, Precise Petcare undercuts Porchlight Solo ($35), and at $45 for two to five it undercuts Porchlight Team ($79). If you are a solo sitter who never plans to hire, that is the honest answer.
Predictable steps
Tiers are published, and a 5% discount applies on annual billing. You can see exactly where the next jump is.
Cheaper than Porchlight Team up to five users
The 2 to 5 user tier is $45 a month, below our $79. Our price wins from the sixth user, where Precise is $90, and by 11 or more users Precise is $160 and above.
What reviewers say about Precise Petcare
These are themes from public reviews, mostly on Capterra, plus published pricing, paired with what we did about each one. They are individual reviewers’ experiences, not measured rates.
Tier boundaries behave like a seat tax
Crossing a user-count threshold jumps the bill: $45 for five users, $90 for the sixth. That makes seasonal hiring an accounting decision.
In Porchlight
No thresholds after the first sitter. Solo is the owner alone, and Team is $79 a month for 2 sitters or 40.
Texting costs extra
Their pricing page says SMS fees are excluded from the stated price. The rate is not published there.
In Porchlight
SMS is included with a 5,000 segment fair-use ceiling shown as a meter, and there is no overage billing.
